This table contains galaxies in a lightcone mock catalogue based on the galaxy formation model of
Gonzalez-Perez et al.2014.
The lightcone was constructed using the technique described by
Merson et al. 2013.
This lightcone covers the whole sky. Only galaxies with redshift < 4.0 and with
emission line flux greater than 10-16erg/s/cm2 observed within the
wavelength range of the Euclid red-grism (1.25<λ/μ<1.8) are
included. The emission lines considered are Hα, Hβ, Hγ, OII
(3727A), OIII (4959A and 5007A), NII (6583A) and Ly-α. This in effect
limits the redshift range of the lightcone to 0.9
Note: This lightcone is very large (222,936,461 entries). Most basic queries
will fail in the browser mode, unless the query is carefully designed. As
the lightcone has been constructed from the Millennium-WMAP7 simulation
galaxies are frequently repeated (up to several hundred times).
The galaxy catalogue used to construct this lightcone is in the table EUCLID_v1..GAL_Gonzalez2014a.
This table is referred to as EUCLID_v1..LC_ALLSKY_SPEC_Gonzalez2014a in SQL queries. For example, to retrieve all properties
for the first 10 galaxies in the table:
